‘God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble,’ (Psalm 46:1).

As humans, we all go through difficult situations. Maybe you are dealing with the loss of a family member or a friend or going through a divorce. Maybe you lost your job or had to move. All of these are major stressful situations, but know that God is with you through them all!

Psalm 34:2-9 says, ‘…I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.’

In the Hebrew, the word ‘bless’ comes from the word ‘bāraḵ’ which means ‘to bless, kneel, to adore, praise, salute.’ Despite your circumstances, you must continue to praise, thank, and adore the Lord!

‘Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul,’ (Psalm 103:22).

Isaiah 41:13 says, ‘For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.’ No matter what your situation looks like, know God is with you and loves you! God’s love never fails!”
