Falling into Water

If someone or something falls, they quickly move in a downward motion toward the ground, or in this case water, and it could be by accident or because of a natural force. To descend freely by gravity, can represent a natural or spiritual fall. It can also represent stumbling or being hindered in the spirit.

Positive: Dreaming of falling into water could represent the changing by the power of God’s Spirit. It can also indicate being submersed in the Spirit, anointing, repentance, preparation for the Kingdom, and could represent overcoming or being overtaken by the Holy Spirit.

Negative: If you fall into water in your dream, it could be a warning about falling into sin or being overwhelmed by something. It can also indicate being unsupported, as in nobody being there to help, especially if you or another are drowning. Falling into the water can also represent a trial, succumbing and being carried away by cares of this world, separation from God, falling into self-pity, depression, grief, debt, suffering, the temptation to backslide, or being spiritually blind and can’t see the potential of falling.

Falling into water in the negative sense may be due to emotions and fears. The Word of God says that perfect or mature love casts out all fear. Never lean on your own understanding because there is wisdom in the multitude of counsel that can help prevent and keep you from compromising or tempting situations, by being left to your own devices, thoughts, and emotions that cause you to be overwhelmed and fall
