DAY 226:

“Don’t let the mouths of bound religious people keep you down! Through the righteousness of Christ you can get up again!!

‘For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief,’ (Proverbs 24:16).

Contrary to popular self-righteous and religious opinions, a ‘just’ man will fall MORE than once. In this verse, Brown-Driver-Briggs’ defines ‘just’ as:

1. just, lawful, righteous
   a. just, righteous (in government)
   b. just, right (in one’s cause)
   c. just, righteous (in conduct and character)
   d. righteous (as justified and vindicated by God)
   e. right, correct, lawful

Even though the Bible clearly states, “a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again,” religious people don’t seem to want to let them get back up. In fact, many go so far as to trample them while they are down and do all they can do to make it impossible for them to rise again.. BUT GOD’S WORD IS SURE.. a just man will rise and the wicked will fall into mischief.

The church at large tends to be kind in one’s first ‘offense’ or ‘fall,’ but when fall number 2 and 3 come around, unforgiveness, impatience, hatred, and judgment are issued with no hope of parole! Imagine what 4, 5, 6, and 7 will face?!?!!

Do not let the religious crowd bully you with condemnation, it is not from God’s Kingdom but Satan’s, or make you feel you are not worthy to rise again. God doesn’t judge the way man does and because of that we can rise again!

A ‘just’ man understands that failure happens but it is not final! In God’s righteousness and strength we can rise again and keep going! Accept the correction and the lesson learned, and rise again knowing God’s love, grace, and mercy have not abandoned you..!”
