Letter 8: He Shall Direct thy Paths

“Women of Purpose,

Have you ever felt your prayers went unanswered or you needed to make a big decision, but didn’t hear God say what to do or where to go?

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths,” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

When faced with a big life decision, it can be simple to go to God in prayer & ask for His help. However, how many times have you become stuck, not doing anything, because you didn’t have the answer on what to do next? You wait and wait for some sort of big sign to appear & tell you what to do… The verse above assures that God will direct your path if you trust, acknowledge Him, and don’t rely on your own understanding or ability!

The word “acknowledge” means declare, know with certainty, make known, or realize. When you have decisions you’re waiting on God for, don’t sit back and wait. Instead, acknowledge Him by 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 He is Lord, 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙮 He will give you the victory, 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙣 that the Lord is on your side, and 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚 that He is in control. When you step out in faith & acknowledge He is in the midst of your darkness, He will direct your path..!”
