Letter 29 – Lord, Use my Brokenness

Precious Daughters,

Did you know that your brokenness is beautiful to God?

It is only after a seed breaks open in the soil that it can produce and bring forth fruit. It was after the alabaster box was broken and poured upon Jesus that its fragrance came forth and became a pleasing sacrifice!

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise,” (Psalms 51:17).

“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit,” (Psalms 34:18).

The enemy will tell you that your brokenness is the end of you… but God says, “It is just the beginning!”

Today, I encourage you to trust the Lord to use your brokenness.. because, it’s most often in the “breaking” that God is “making” you!”
