A jacket is a garment for the upper body, usually having a front opening, collar, lapels, sleeves, and pockets. It is something worn or fastened around the body for fashion or warmth, but not to be used as clothing itself, just as another layer.  

Positive: Dreaming of a jacket could represent a spiritual covering over one’s life. A jacket may represent extra protection or support from God in your life during a season.

Negative: Dreaming of a jacket could mean that you need to be concealed, cover up, or that there is a need for protection from elements outside of your own control in your life. Dreaming of losing a jacket could represent that you have lost spiritual protection over your life.
