Fingernails are the flat hard parts made of keratin on the surface of each finger. In a dream, the condition of your fingernails reflects how positive or negative you feel about yourself.

Positive: Fingernails in a dream can represent one’s desire to help others. They can also represent thoughts and feelings about your self-worth, confidence, accomplishments.

Negative:  Fingernails can also represent defensiveness, insecurity, shame, aggression, vanity, seduction, and uncleanliness.
