The back is the rear part of the body from the neck to the end of the spine. The back is known as the strength and support of the body, without it, the body is useless. The back can symbolically refer to the Body of Christ, representing the strength and structure of the church.

Positive: If you see someone with their back toward you in a dream, it may be a warning to critique one’s character. It can also represent returning to your first love from something you have backslidden from. Seeing the back in a dream can represent the core/center of a situation or to turn your back on something that has plagued you.

Negative:  Turning your back on someone in a dream can represent rejection. Seeing a back can also represent the need to look to the future instead of the past. Dreaming of a back can mean that you are experiencing stress or pressure, betrayal, or keeping secrets.
