A manta ray is a large ray with triangular fins. The word “manta” comes from the Spanish word for mantle or cloak. Unlike sting rays, manta rays do not have poisonous “stingers” or barbs and cannot sting. Contrary to popular belief, manta rays are not dangerous to humans.

Positive: Dreaming of  a manta ray could represent God’s covering over your life. It could symbolize His protection. In a dream, a manta ray could be a sign to not believe everything you see or hear. It could also be a warning against gossip.

Negative: In a dream, a manta ray could represent deceit or lies. An injured manta ray could represent that your protection or covering has been removed.
