An echidna is a small, egg-laying mammal also referred to as a spiny
anteater. Echidnas and the platypus are the only living mammals that lay eggs.

Positive: Dreaming of an echidna could represent that God has given you a special and
unique gift that no one else has and He wants to begin using you. Seeing an echidna
defend itself against an attack from a predator could be symbolic of the shield of faith.

Negative: Dreaming of an echidna losing its spines could represent one who has a lack
of faith. An echidna not wanting to share its home with others could represent someone
not listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
