DAY 205:

“Do Not Be Deceived by Your Eyes!

‘And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works,’ (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).

The Lord wants you to be well aware of what you are paying attention to and entertaining with your eyes, because Satan desires to do nothing more than deceive you. In this end time, there are many things that the enemy is using that look right and even sound right, but they are very wrong! It is not God it is the devil!!

‘And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat,’ (Genesis 3:6).

Remember, Eve “saw” that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and that it was desired to make one wise… BUT it was the very thing that caused her and Adam to fall from where God created and positioned them with His own hands. The appearance of what she was seeing blinded her and instead of her being full of light and desiring to be obedient to the Lord, she was deceived by the snake and not only did she eat, but her husband did too.

‘The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness, (Matthew 6:22-23)!

Satan is fighting for your perception, that is what your eyes perceive, and if your heart is not clean your perceptions can be rooted and grounded in darkness rather than in the fullness of God’s light. You don’t have to be a victim of Satan’s deception!
