DAY 88:

“Do you give cheerfully or grudgingly?

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again,” (Luke 6:38).

“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive,” (Acts 20:35).

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver,” (2 Corinthians 9:7).

The devil messes with people about giving all the time… Why do you think that is? He is the author of deception and confusion. Jesus said, it is more blessed to give than to receive, because when you give with a cheerful heart and not with regret or grudgingly, you position yourself to be BLESSED!! To the point of running over!!

Satan knows how to make you battle and argue in your own mind and reason God’s Word away, but the truth is, it will never pass away!!

“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away,” (Mark 13:31).

God is so good and He is always giving us opportunities to give so that we can be abundantly blessed!! That is His heart.. Many, even in the church are so stingy and won’t give to anything, because they think someone just wants their money, when in fact, God just wants to bless them!!

“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again,” (Proverbs 19:17).I pray that the hearts of Christians near and far would be awakened to the beauty of giving with thankfulness and being full of cheer, so the promise of the Lord’s abundant blessings would be made manifest in their lives and they would experience His Love in a greater dimension than ever before!! The Father GAVE His Son Jesus for the souls of men, and the Father is going to GIVE Jesus a Royal Bride without blemish!! Giving is LIVING the Abundant Life Jesus came to Give to ALL who will Receive..!” ~David E. Taylor~
