DAY 239:

“God’s Vision is Fulfilled Through Faith & Humility

‘(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)’ (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Humility works with your faith to not only help you see the “unseen” vision, it works with your faith to enable you to be faithful (full of faith) to accomplish it. Pride always blinds you to God’s vision and hinders you from faithfully serving until it is accomplished. Pride lifts up your soul and causes you to not walk uprightly, because it puts your focus on the wrong thing. It sees the outward appearance and pulls you to lean on your own understanding. It is pride that causes men and women to look on the outside of a thing to determine its value and whether or not they will faithfully run with God’s ordained vision. Sadly, this is also true in the church.

‘…for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart’ (1 Samuel 16:7).

‘In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not…’ (2 Corinthians 4:4)

The devil’s mode of operation is to blind you through pride, leaving you unable to see God’s vision. However, as you humble yourself and hear God’s Word, your eyes for the vision will open, and you will receive His grace to be faithful and run until the vision is fulfilled!”
