DAY 11:

Be Anxious for Nothing!

These are powerful words to live by! Unfortunately, there are too many people, and I am talking about people in the church, that have an anxious spirit.

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus,” (Philippians 4:6-7).

Strong’s defines “careful” as: to be anxious about

Thayer’s defines “careful” as:

1. to be anxious

       a. to be troubled with cares

2. to care for, look out for (a thing)

       a. to seek to promote one’s interests

        b. caring or providing for

When you dig a little deeper and search the scriptures, God’s Word will cleanse you and you and you will be able to better identify the areas in your life where you are operating in anxiousness, and missing the peace of God that keeps your heart and mind through Jesus!

I want to remind you that every chance the devil gets to cause you to be troubled with cares, that the Bible tells you to cast on God, you will remain in fear, anxiety, and turmoil.

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you,” (1 Peter 5-7).

When you take cares on you and are anxious, you are basically rejecting God’s ability to bear your burdens, when in reality Jesus already won the victory for every care and burden you have had, will have, or think you might have..

Accept the promise that God’s grace is sufficient for you and that He will provide your every need, heal you, deliver and set you free, make the crooked places straight, and turn your captivity!!

So, I say again, be anxious for nothing!! Cast your cares on Jesus because He genuinely cares for you! In EVERY thing, by prayer and suppliction with THANKSGIVING, make your requests known to God, and He will keep your heart and mind in peace that goes beyond your understanding.
