DAY 109:

“Just because slander has become common doesn’t mean it’s acceptable! Unfortunately, most people today are more fluent in slander than they are in genuine kindness. Whether intentional or unintentional, slander has become so accepted, it even spews from pulpits across America and around the world.

“Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge,” (James 4:11).

“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice,” (Ephesians 4:31).

“He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool,” (Proverbs 10:18).

The scriptures clearly display the heart of God when it comes to people who slander others. Anyone that utters slander, God calls a fool. Be mindful of the company you keep. If there is gossip, malicious and slanderous utterances, or any other form of evil speech against people, rebuke that foolishness! Don’t passively sit by and allow what God hates to happen in your presence.. Keep His standard, even if you are left standing alone, because your obedience will be rewarded..!!”
